I'd like to share a tip on better aging. Studies have found that older people who perceived aging positively performed better physically and cognitively compared to those with more-negative perceptions; they had better memory, walked faster, were more likely to recover from a serious disability, and lived longer. Studies also show that intergenerational friendships, regular exercise and walking, and even smiling positively, impact your health and psychological well-being. As you age, ask for help if you need it, such as when something is hard to reach. It is a good idea to fall-proof your home and eliminate obstacles, such as rugs. Also, please consider using walking aids if your balance is compromised.
