Jennifer Hintenberger (vegan) is a multiple world record-setting athlete in kettlebell sport. After experiencing years of poor health from IBS and polycystic ovary syndrome, she switched to a vegan diet more than a decade ago. Her symptoms included acne, itchiness, bloating, constipation, and lethargy. She realized that consuming dairy products, animal-people meat, and gluten-containing foods worsened her symptoms. “Plants have all the protein you need to be strong, to be healthy, to be competitive,” says the 43-year-old champion. She adds that being vegan helps her recover more rapidly after exercising while she continues to gain strength. She eats up to 20 servings of fruit a day, plus green smoothies.

Three cheers, Jennifer Hintenberger, for being a shining example of vegan power. May all athletes discover the health benefits of going vegan, in Celestial upliftment.
