"When the hearing permeates and the essence is bright, Light pervades the Dharma Realm, so that absolutely no darkness remains." So, Quan Yin Bodhisattva even can protect people from the ghosts. "When the sound is gone and the hearing is perfected, and all-pervasive power of compassion arises, and I can make it so that if living beings are travelling a dangerous road, thieves will not rob them." "When one is permeated with hearing, one separates from worldly objects, and forms cannot rob one. Then I can make it so that living beings with a great deal of desire can leave greed and desire far behind." But only when She contemplates on the sound and separates Herself from the physical body. She entered samadhi. She entered into the universal all-pervasive, all-omnipresent, the universal power. When She enters and partakes of that, then She can do all this and that, and all this. That is the response body.
