In today’s news, Australia supports Cambodia with COVID-19 economic relief, study finds 99 of world’s most environmentally threatened cities are in Asia, United Kingdom building supercomputer for better weather prediction, robot connects Japanese kids in hospitals with outside world, boy sells his prized possession for his sick dog’s treatment in United States, Brazilian food technology company develops plant-based meat alternatives, and French scientists use artificial intelligence for giraffe conservation in Zimbabwe.

Australia joins United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in supporting Cambodia with COVID-19 relief.

The Australian Government agreed to add US$3.1 million to a joint Resilience Fund with the UNDP, which was set up to reduce the pandemic’s impact on the Cambodian people and economy. With the Fund, the Cambodian government has been able to implement an urgent cash transfer program helping 693,000 of the most disadvantaged families. Local businesses are being supported as well as personal protective and sanitation equipment provided for safer cross-border trading. The initiative will also allow businesses to run during lockdown by joining the e-commerce platform. Australia is a recipient of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Good Governance; as well as a laureate of three Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Caring, Good Governance, Health Guardian and High Moral Value. Our gratitude, Australia, UNDP, and the Cambodian government. In Buddha’s Mercy, may the kind people of Cambodia be blessed with abundant health and stability.

Research shows 99 of most environmentally at-risk cities are in Asia.

A new study published by global consulting firm Verisk Maplecroft warns that 1.4 billion people living in 414 cities around the world face high or extreme environmental threats from fatal pollution, declining water supplies, extreme heat, natural disasters, and climate change. Alarmingly, of the 100 most hazardous cities, 99 are in Asia, with 43 in India, mainly due to poor air quality. Meanwhile, Indonesia’s Jakarta was found to be most at risk due to the combination of severe air pollution, earthquakes and floods. In terms of climate change risk, the publication identified Africa as most vulnerable, given that the continent is least prepared to mitigate its impacts. Many thanks for the important assessment, Verisk Maplecroft. As we pray for the well-being of all, may our world soon embrace eco-friendly practices, including the most sustainable vegan lifestyle, in Heaven’s light.

Up next, United Kingdom building supercomputer for weather prediction. We would like to extend our appreciation to all renal pathologists, who take their time to meticulously examine biopsies to correctly diagnose kidney-related disorders. When we return, more leading news ahead, here on Supreme Master Television! Vegan = True Human.

Hi, generous viewers, it’s me your cute Opal the vegan Orchid Mantis. If you think being vegan makes me attractive, you are so right. Well, it’s your turn to try it. For those of us with skin that often gets dry or hot, a cooling spray can be made to regularly moisturize it. These sprays frequently contain rosewater and essential oils like tuberose and lavender that have anti-inflammatory effects. If you are overheated, spritzing your neck and chest region is effective. Cooling spray bottles are small and convenient for when you are on the go, so you can put one in your purse or bag, and a spare in your car. Thank you for tuning in and love you a lot for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now for the weather around the globe.

United Kingdom building supercomputer to better predict the weather.

The United Kingdom’s Meteorological Office (or Met Office) has partnered with Microsoft to build a state-of-the-art supercomputer that will help to forecast the weather more accurately. It will also be more effective at warning the public about the ever-increasing severe events like floods, storms and heavy snow. With 1.5 million processor cores and the ability to perform 60 quadrillion calculations per second, the machine will use hardware from Hewlett Packard Enterprise and cloud services from Microsoft Azure, both United States-headquartered companies. The UK government has pledged £1.2 billion to develop this innovative supercomputer. Way to go, United Kingdom Met Office, Microsoft and all involved. In Celestial blessings, may your project provide timely information to help safeguard precious lives.

Robot brings outside world to hospitalized children.

Hospitals in Japan have been enforcing more stringent limitations for visitors to protect their already vulnerable patients from COVID-19. Concerns have been raised that this might increase pediatric cancer patients’ feelings of social isolation and impact their mental health. To lessen that effect, Millefeuille Childhood Cancer Frontiers, a Japanese non-profit that used to organize fun activities for patients before the pandemic, have begun using a robot to help them interact with the world. For instance, through the moving robot’s screen, the youngsters are able to go shopping virtually for school supplies. Ms. Inoue Fumiko, the Chief Director of Millefeuille Childhood Cancer Frontiers, told Japan’s NHK TV channel, “It’s a long time since they’re being able to connect with the outside world. … We would like to keep doing this work.” Wonderful idea, Millefeuille Childhood Cancer Frontiers! In Buddha’s Love, we pray for the children’s wellness and happiness during these difficult times.

Sweet boy sells his prized possession to fund his puppy’s medical treatment.

When his beloved puppy Bruce was diagnosed with a parvovirus infection, eight-year-old Bryson Kliemann from Virginia, United States, knew that it would be difficult for his family to pay the veterinarian bills. On his own, he set up a stand outside his house with a signboard reading “Pokémon 4 Sale,” referring to his cherished Pokémon card collection. Seeing this, Bryson’s mother created a GoFundMe account aiming to raise US$800, but generous donations came in from all over the world, which exceeded US$6,000! Not only did Bruce recover after treatment, the excess funds have been dedicated for other local dogs in need of medical care. What’s more, the Pokémon Company’s employees in Washington state gifted Bryson with a package of rare cards. A high salute, Bryson Kliemann, for your noble heart. May you and Bruce enjoy playing together for a long time to come, in Divine joy.

Coming up, Brazilian food technology company develops plant-based meat alternatives. We’ll take just a moment to thank all the Divine beings for their urgent intervention to help preserve our Earth. You’re watching Noteworthy News on Supreme Master Television. Vegan, any better idea! Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Outstanding News for a Wiser World.

Food technology company in Brazil develops plant-based foods that taste like meat.

The New Butchers was launched in 2019 by Bruno Fonseca, a vegan triathlete and entrepreneur concerned about the animal livestock industry’s impact on the environment. Mr. Fonseca realized that it would be much easier for someone to switch the source of their protein if the tastes and textures were replicated. In spite of Brazil’s meat-centric reputation, an expanding wave of plant-based meat substitutes is joining the market, as the number of Brazilians identifying as fully or partially vegetarian has risen by 75% over a six-year period. The company’s current offerings include a vegan chicken fillet, vegan chicken burger, vegan beef burger, and vegan fish dumplings, made primarily with protein from peas. Congratulations, Bruno Fonseca and team at The New Butchers, for your planet- and lives-shielding endeavor. In God’s Grace, we pray for a benevolent world in which our animal co-inhabitants and nature can be in total peace.

Artificial intelligence used to recognize giraffes in the wild.

Scientists from France have developed a system based on face recognition technology to identify individual giraffes for conservation efforts. Giraffes are typically quite difficult to tell apart, but the new software can accurately identify them by analyzing their unique fur patterns, having “learned” a dataset of 4,000 photographs of about 400 of the elegant mammals in Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park. The new technology will help conservationists keep track of the giraffe population and better understand why it has been shrinking in this region. Since the 1980s, their numbers have declined by about 30% to 117,000 across the African continent due to hunting, human population growth and development, war, civil unrest and more. Thank you, scientists from France and the staff at Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park, for your caring efforts. In Heaven’s protection, may the majestic giraffe be safe and flourish once again.

Here’s a joke from our selection to lighten our minds. It’s entitled, “Fax Machine.”

“Sophia, do you know if this fax machine is working properly?”

“It should be, Ben. What’s wrong?”

“Well, I sent a fax, and the company’s office manager called back saying all she got was a cover-sheet and blank page. I tried again, and same result.”

“How did you load the sheet?”

“It’s a pretty sensitive report and I don’t want anyone else to read it by accident. So I cleverly folded it so only the recipient can open it and read it.”

?!!

And now we have a heartline from Banafsheh in Iran:

Hallo, In a Between Master and Disciples episode of “The Fallen Angels,” I saw that the hand of the Unique One was tied with a thumb strap. Maybe because of working a lot with the laptop. Crying is useless. I have to do something. I also had pain for a while and had to put on the same kind of thumb strap. My physiotherapist taught me an exercise that worked. Please pass this video to Beloved Supreme Master. Most Compassionate Master, I was overwhelmed with sadness when I saw in the conference call that Your beautiful hand was tied in a thumb strap, and I realized that it was painful. Seeing that Your sacrifices and efforts to save the world cause You problems and hurt Your precious physical being with pain, etc. breaks my heart. I wish I could at least share Your physical pain and take the burden off Your beloved shoulders. But since I know Your kind heart will not allow me to share such a glorious share, I ask that You allow me to send an exercise for Your fingers and wrists in the hope that Your physical suffering will be alleviated. I bow with love to all Your sacrifices and kindness. Your disciple who loves You, Banafsheh from Iran

Ten seconds. Ten seconds, five times. Ten seconds. Ten seconds, five times. Ten seconds. Ten seconds. Ten seconds. Ten seconds. Ten seconds. Ten seconds. Ten seconds. Ten seconds. Ten seconds. Ten seconds, five times.

Attentive Banafsheh, Our appreciation for sending your touching words of concern. It also deeply hurts our hearts to see Master sacrificing Her health relentlessly for the betterment of humankind, the animals, our planet and the Universe. We pray that all of Her missions will soon be accomplished so She can have quality time in ways that bring Her the greatest joy and peace. May Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him, guide you and beautiful Iran forever, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master lovingly replies: “Loving Banafsheh, my thanks for your kind gesture, though my pain is not much compared to many other beings in this world. Surely others will also find your tip helpful. This body is a vehicle, so we need to take care of it well to perform our duties. Love you, and may you and the cultured Iranian people forever be blessed in Allah’s eternal Light.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline

We sure have enjoyed spending time with you on Noteworthy News. May your days be abundant with divine illumination.
