In 2001, Ms. Abaza, the World Animal Day Egyptian ambassador, founded the Society for the Protection of Animal Rights in Egypt (SPARE), the first registered non-profit organization promoting animal-people welfare in her country. Together with Amina, a charitable organization from the United Kingdom, Naturewatch Foundation was also acknowledged by Supreme Master Ching Hai. The foundation was founded in 1993, and has run animal-people welfare campaigns within the UK since then. Once apprised of their love and care for the people of the animal kingdom, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai responded and: “Gratefully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Naturewatch Foundation and Amina Abaza of the Society for the Protection of Animal Rights in Egypt (SPARE) respectively, with a humble gift of US$10,000 to each in support of their noble mission to safeguard animal-individuals and better their welfare. May Heaven continue to bless you both and your benevolent work.”

The Reverend is the founder and chairman of the Catholic Messengers of Green Consciousness and the Hong Kong Catholic Vegetarian Association and is a compassionate vegan who believes that a peaceful plant-based diet can help conserve the planet's ecosystems and environment. Upon learning of his benevolent work, Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Reverently offer Father Anthony Chang Sang Loy and His organizations, the Catholic Messengers of Green Consciousness and the Hong Kong Catholic Vegetarian Association, the Shining World Protection Award with a humble contribution of US$10,000 toward His noble mission with praises and best wishes, in God’s Love.”

Sebbie Hall, an 18-year-old with special needs from Lichfield, Staffordshire, United Kingdom, has successfully completed over 1,600 random acts of kindness, beginning with gifting his own laptop to a friend in early 2020. When hearing about his wonderful kind deeds, our Benevolent Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Joyfully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Sebbie Hall, plus US$10,000 to lovingly support your caring endeavors, with many thanks, admiration, and praises. May God Bless you manyfold.”
