If you stay together, you save a lot, a lot and a lot. You’re shopping together, you don’t need to go shop alone, you know – pay petrol for one person instead of four persons; go shopping for one person, instead of four persons. You buy big packet, family size for four people, it’s cheaper than for one person. You will save in many ways, and at the end of the month, you’ll be surprised how much money’s left in your pocket without you working extra! Some people work many extra jobs because they need it.

Now, because you practice the Quan Yin Method, your life is even more simple already. You don’t yearn for luxury, or car, or anything that is not necessary anymore. Yeah, you save a lot already. And you wear simple clothes; you meditate a lot; you eat simple food, so your life is already very simplified. So, try to see more what else you can cut. Sell what you don’t need to get more money. Put it in investments. Or do anything you want to do with it. And pool together the resources; it’s the best. Eat together, stay together in one place. What for you need a big room? You’re supposed to meditate. So, one bedroom’s enough for four people. And if it’s not, you sleep on top of each other, keep warm in winter! No need electricity, heater, nothing! Save more!

Actually, if you live together, the room is warmer. You know that. (Yes.) It’s for sure! Human heat. And you can turn the heat lower, then! That also saves some electricity or gas. Really! I’m not joking. (Yes, it’s true.) And even if you’re too tired, then you lie down, sleep together, four people. It’s very warm! You don’t even need electricity or heater, not that high. You understand me? (Yes.) After you meditate, you sleep so nicely, really. You just feel warm naturally. Except for me, when I go out in the nature and it’s two degrees (Celcius) at night, and I’m struggling. But you don’t have to go to that extreme.

What I mean is, if you stay together, you save a lot, a lot and a lot. But if they cut down the expenses in their life where unnecessary, then they will save a lot; they don’t need to work two jobs, even.

And here, even when I came, I saw all the lights had not been changed to economy lights. But of course, nobody has been here, so, that should be OK. But even here, if you don’t need the light, you turn it off. If you don’t need the computer, then you turn it off. Nothing on standby, and all the lights all night, for what? (Yes.) Everywhere you go. And when you stay together, also like that, you economize. Because whatever you save is your money! You work very hard for money. Why waste it? That’s what I’m asking you.

What for you need an apartment with two bedrooms alone? You feel more lonely! The bigger the house, the more lonely you feel. So big and empty. Really, try it! And the worst is that, “OK, I don’t like it. Ah, she snores, she stinks, so I move out!” That’s it, then you go back to square one. Who cares – if you try it, and it doesn’t work. You have to see if you’re compatible with each other, and it’s convenient for your job, whatever. Just try whatever you can. And if you don’t like it, the worst is that you don’t like it. And what will happen? Nothing! You go back to where you were, and you spend your money again. Who cares? Nothing can happen to you, if you try that. Go try, save more money for me. And then you can spend it. I don’t ask for your money, but if you have more money, you’ll feel good. The way you save it, you’ll feel good.

And every day, you count it. Every month. “Oh, this month I saved $70,” or 300 – 300 for sure! If you rent a flat, that’s 300 for sure, net in your pocket. And you save more from electricity. You’ll see the bill, the difference between four people and one person. You share the electric bill, also four people. You understand how much more you save? And you write it all down, so physically, you will know that you are really saving it, and then you will be more happy when you see the amount, and you see it’s really happening. You have to let your mind see it, so that he listens to you: “I’m doing well!” And then you’ll be encouraged more. Then you stay together, and you’ll feel better. You have to write down everything you save. Food is also shared. Bills are also shared. Everything is shared. It’s shared among four people, and you save so much.

Oh, believe me, I’m going to open a bank account and just get some interest from this, from advising you. Because people do financial consulting, and they take a lot of money for it. I do everything for free. But you please do it. I don’t want to take any money, but please do it. It will please me if your life is getting any better. Like this, you can retire earlier, also. Have your dream come true! Don’t all or many of you want to retire early? But how? You have to save money! Invest it. Invest the money you save, and it will double, double. Alright, that’s it. It’s all about money. Nothing…

But it’s important to save money, so you can go to retreat, you can have your rest time, retire early, devote yourself to what you want to do. Isn’t that more fun (Yes.) than just working as a... you know, wasting your energy and time, the whole lifetime, just because you need to put something in your stomach! You can do it wiser, you see? The same, you still have something in your stomach, but you don’t have to work that hard. Maybe you cut off your working time, you retire early. Instead of at 60 years old, you retire at 30 years old, 40 years old! (Wow!) Yeah, why not? If you do it wisely, you can. The way you’re doing it now, I think it might be too late, but it’s still not too late to begin again. At least you save from this month the 300. If you do it. Maybe a little far to go to the bus, but then it’s 300 euros, think about that. (Yes.) Any more questions? (Thank You, Master.) It seems workable? (Yes!)

What, love? (I want just to say that you can do it without family, because my husband, he doesn’t like this, that I am very simple. If he wants to buy something for me special, I’m not so glad. And I don’t want to go to the theatre, because I am not curious anymore.) Anymore, understand. (I want to spend time in meditation.) I know. (And he doesn’t like this, my style of living.) Of course, of course. Is he initiated? (No.) Then, of course! (He is an [animal-people] meat-eater.) Oh, well! Well, what to do? You’re already stuck there, and you try to work it out. Unless you want to get out, you have to stick to it. But what I mean is for the bachelors the people who’re already easy and have no obligations.

Why have to rent an apartment all for yourself? When you live together, it’s more simple. You can say, “OK! You know, Lisa, today I’m very busy, can you wash my clothes for me while I’m...” Yeah! They can put it in and watch it for you while you’re gone away. Or you wash clothes together, and it doesn’t waste so much money and electricity. Or cook together: “Oh, please cook the meal. I have to go now, but...” And the next day, “Oh, my car broke down, please go out, help together to fix it.” You know, many hands make light work. One day you cook, next day I cook, and we don’t have to cook every day, even. And we always have different tastes, different meals. Isn’t that fun? (Yes!) And eat together – nice. Talk together about God all day. Or listen together and then talk about the same interests. And you encourage each other, just like a group meditation every day. It’s like a small (meditation) Center every day. And you think of nothing else but meditate together, because we talk about these things together all day and every time, and so we just encourage in this direction. And your life spiritually, also, will be improved.

I don’t control your life. I don’t want to mess up with your decisions or anything. I’m just telling you this is the way. If somebody can do it, it’s very good for you. For many people, or whoever can do it, you know, the bachelor, the single. Living alone is sometimes very depressing. Living together, sometimes you have a little problem, but that’s no big deal. Go meditate, and then you’ll laugh again. Really, it’s like that. It’s just my advice. And not everybody can do it, of course. If you have family and children, it’s more difficult. (Yes.) But if the family has more rooms, then two families can also join together even, live together. Because if the whole family is initiated, and the other family is also initiated, the kids also join together, live together. Except the parents have one room, and the kids share, two kids each or something, and… Why not? Why not? I don’t see why not.

After you practice meditation already, what is the limit anymore? What more privacy do you need, or anything? It’s all the same direction, same ideal. (Yes.) If it can work out like that, also fine. Or the couple’s married already but can join together in one apartment. Some people, married couples mostly, they have a two-bedroom apartment. And they have one living room, one bedroom, and things like that. Why bother? You can use the living room as another bedroom, so you can live a couple together nicely, and cook together. Even husband and wife, two couples can live together also. Save a lot of money and time, and manpower.

You always have some helper nearby to help you do this, do that, something you cannot do alone. And still have a helping hand. One person goes shopping; the other three stay home, meditate. One person cooks; the others meditate. One person cleans the house, take turns; everybody else’s happy. No? (Yes.) One person washes the whole household’s clothes and dries them, and the other persons just do what they want. To wash one person’s clothes or four persons’ clothes is similar, but the other three persons are free. Do you understand what I’m saying? There’re always advantages. And the food together is always cheaper and tastes better. And meditate together, encouraging each other to meditate more. And you’ll have more happiness together and less quarrels between the couples.

And if you don’t like it, well, the worst thing is that you don’t like it. OK, move out again. Very simple. (Yes.) Right! I don’t mean you must go with your husband. You have to leave him first! I mean for the ones who can, the bachelors who still can. Think about that, just think about it. It’s just my suggestion. Think about it. And if you can do it, then it’s beneficial. Really, it will benefit you. You can see it right away. You write down all the benefits that you have, and then you will see physically that it’s really good. I encourage all of you to do it. I don’t promise that you’ll have Heaven when you live together. Maybe you’ll have a little different opinion and all that. But later on, you’ll get used to it, and it’s really not a big deal. You just go meditate, that’s it!

If you don’t like something, just say, “Please clean your own kitchen after you cook.” Then that’s it, and then you go meditate. After you come out, “Oh, it’s clean!” It’s no big deal. It’s really wonderful to live together. You should, you should. What for waste money and pay for the whole apartment? After the Quan Yin Method, you should be like a monk already. There’s not much that you should want. Really, no? You feel that way, no? (Yes.) Then just do it! Make your apartment a temple, and all these little monks live together. Big monks, little monks! Try it, OK? (Yes.) Tell your people. (OK.) If they want it, they can do that. It’s like every apartment is a (meditation) Center, and then you’ll be happy together.

There’s always somebody there. Or when you’re sick, you’re alone, nobody... you don’t feel like cooking. What are you laughing at? (It’s true.) When you’re alone, you’re sick, you don’t feel like cooking, and you’re too tired to... Or if some days you’re too tired from work or have physical exhaustion, you can ask your roommate, “Please cook me something. I’m tired.” Somebody’s there, a shoulder for you to cry on or to say, “Oh, I’m tired today, can you cook me a (vegan) soup?” Of course, they’ll do it. Or when the other person is tired or sick, “Can I do something? Can I cook you some special food? Your favorite (vegan) food?” Because when you’re sick and tired, you don’t want to do it yourself. But somebody else is there, and they cook it. Oh, you’d enjoy it, no? (Yes.) Yes. And look after each other, of course, and it becomes more loving and more like family. And you will feel like it’s the best ever idea.

(I would like to hug Master.) What now? (Master, please allow me to kowtow to You. One kowtow to show my gratitude to Master, for teaching me more than one decade.) No need, you’re weak and old already. Kowtow would break your spine. (Master said to kowtow to the Living Buddha.) No need. Please, don’t do it. It’s OK. Now you’re happy. OK. Alright? OK. (Master has given me so much Love. I don’t know how to repay Master’s Grace.) No need. It’s fine. It’s OK. It’s enough. There. There. Alright. He just wanted to prostrate to me once to say, “Thank You.” That’s all. I said, “No need. You’re old already. Your bones are not too…” But he liked to do it, and he did already. I couldn’t stop it. Never mind. But you don’t copy.

I’m telling you, good ideas always come around. If I were you, single, I would just go and live with any practitioners together. I wouldn’t waste my money. It’s alright? (Yes.)

Is your spine still intact? No need to kowtow anymore. It’ll hurt your spine. (I wish Master good health and longevity.) Thank you. (Your Love to the whole world…) You can’t hear anything? You just sat there and heard nothing. (I didn’t pay attention.) He said his ear has become not very clear, so he wants to ask somebody else to be contact person. Thank you for your work all these years anyway. Thank you. (Yes.) If you’d like to nominate someone then you write the name down and give it to them. (Yes, yes.) Nominate someone. (I would like to ask this sister to help.) Who is she? (There, there.) Where? Where is “there”? (Who wears a big robe.) Who has a big face, right?

But you also need an Aulacese (Vietnamese), right? (Yes, it’s because unfortunately, I have some hearing loss, sometimes telephone calls are in English, and I…) Understand. OK, OK. (Maybe later, if I can regain my hearing loss, then I will support behind.) OK, OK. (I’ll find another person to replace.) She’s doing it right now anyway, right? (Yes.) Do you need an Aulacese (Vietnamese) or a Chinese also? (Yes. Aulacese [Vietnamese] would be good. Chinese…) Is there anybody? (The brother and his wife.) You write to them for me the situation. (Yes.) Inform them and then I will say OK or not. That’s what they do, when they don’t want to be contact person, or they move. They write it, or the Center, or other people write to them, and say, “OK. We recommend somebody else.” Give me a few options, and I’ll say, “This one OK. This one not OK.” (Yes. Thank You, Master.) Thank you. These last years…

(I am 80 next year.) Eighty already! Wow. (But I have some hearing loss.) He’s 80 years old next year. (Wow!) Next year. But he looks young. (Yes!) (He’s a healthy living vegetarian [vegan].) These people told me that you are still very healthy, still young and handsome, too. (My love is always the same for all beings. So, I know what to do to repay Your Grace. I built a meditation Center in Âu Lạc [Vietnam] to repay Your Grace, to lead people on the path back to God.) Very good. (I always have love all the time. And I love Master.) Very good. Very good! Good. OK. I see you later, guys. (Thank You, Master. Thank You. Love You.)
