On today’s show, we are honored to present selections from “Así Hablaba Quetzalcóatl (Thus Spoke Quetzalcóatl),” about pain from attachment and Quetzalcóatl’s revelation of a new era of enlightenment arising from chaos and turmoil.

MORE ABOUT PAIN

“And they asked Him once more: Talk to us about pain. And by making use of the word, He said to them: Pain is nothing but payment for your attachment to things. From the moment you make a thing yours, you become vulnerable in it to pain. But you must know that pain is the school which lets us ascend towards ourselves, and through it, we leave our scoria and we become clean.

What you sow, you will reap. Thus, pain is the inevitable fruit of the tree of possession. Look for the Truth and It will be revealed unto you. Let us practice devotion and the sacrifice of detachment.”

ROSES WILL BLOOM

“And Quetzalcóatl was commenting to His closer ones as follows:

Yesterday I immersed myself in the wings of time, and was taken to the path of the Yet to Come. When I reached a bend on the way, I perceived the ‘City of Life’ asleep over the ‘Valley of Hope.’ When I saw it, I wished to draw near to it, but a friendly hand stopped me and told me: Brother, before You enter there look at Yourself thoroughly and know Yourself, because all who draw near it become confused. And I looked into myself and saw I was fortified, and that my Light was strong, and so I wished to go.

And then I perceived a public square and saw how ignorance was flogging Wisdom, and how it was taking possession of all environments, and I felt nausea. I wanted to go away, but the hand which before wanted to prevent me from entering, now was preventing me from going out. I saw how selfishness and comfort arrived dressed in their Freedom costume, and everyone ‘in masse’ was singing to them, and were opening up their arms to take in their ‘teachings.’

And then I saw in a corner of a house sister Humbleness, abandoned of all and dressed in rags. Its supplications were being suffocated with boisterous laughter and blasphemies. And a tear rolled down over my cheek and I implored to Heaven.

I once more looked and saw the daylight lending its attention to presumptuousness, and forgetting about Honesty. And those who talked with their hearts were thrown out of the city, while those who with beautiful words concealed fraud, were being flattered. And I looked through the ramparts of the Temple and saw that feelings were drowning into self-styled prayers. And I saw many opening up their mouth to pray, but with their heart locked up under ten keys. I searched for the answer at the altar, and saw that the one who was leading the prayers had a heart bolted more shut than that of anybody else.

So I told myself: I will go and see what are they doing with the new seeds, because they will be the future trees shading the city. And I went down to a school, only to see with horror that they were only teaching them to sleep, because all of them were asleep in the dream of Life. And many children were crying and others were already turning into rebels.

Before such chaos, I went to a corner on a street and looked for Solitude. She came towards me and told me: Look at me Brother, I am full of noise. My dress is stained and not even I recognize myself. Let me rest for a while over Your heart so I can recover strength.

After that I went to another public square and saw many over the place, speaking all languages and all ideologies, antagonizing ones with the others because each one considered himself the owner of Freedom, and they were fighting, and even killing each other, for the privilege of handing it to the people. But I saw with sorrow that the only thing they had with them was a word called Freedom, written with tears and blood, and that all of them were chained to it, some with iron chains, and others with golden chains. And in the midst of them I saw how all of them together were crucifying the Son of Freedom, and spat on His face and laughed at Him, vituperating and stoning Him with words ...

Desperately I ran towards the fields, and in them I saw that greed was pretending to put four crops where there was only enough energy for one. And I saw the little birds fleeing from the city and taking shelter on the tallest branches of the trees, because they were afraid of man’s evils. And I heard the desperate screams of animals, waiting to be sacrificed, splashing with their innocent blood the slaughterhouses, to later calm down the brutal gluttony of their ‘older brother,’ man.

Then I turned into time, desperate. I kneeled down and prayed for those things which were happening. Then a gust of wind brought me some words which were whispered into my ears: ‘The same as from mud are roses born, from this chaos the New Man will be born.’

Sow, brother, your seed, to contribute towards His Awakening. Worldly life is comparable to total chaos. To decadence. Some great ones have the mission of improving the conditions of this world. A Master’s mission is to liberate men from the slavery of this world.
