In today’s news, United Nations Children’s Fund assists worldwide access to vaccines and syringes, new study links COVID-19 mortality with obesity, iconic Himalayan peak’s pristine state continues to be preserved, United Kingdom report shows plastic waste not declining, single mother on track to become the first Yolngu Indigenous lawyer in Australia, new vegan doughnut shop opens in Washington DC, United States, and Turkish man and swan accompany each other for over three decades.

UNICEF assists worldwide access to vaccines and syringes.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has begun delivering syringes as part of the COVAX (COVID-19 Vaccines Global Access) Facility’s initiative that will help to ensure all countries have access to syringes as well as vaccines. In 2021, it is expected that the Facility will see two billion vaccines delivered to the 190 participating nations, in addition to one billion syringes. The syringes will be single use only, to ensure safety, and be used with the Serum Institute of India/AstraZeneca vaccine and the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Our gratitude UNICEF and COVAX Facility, for your important life-protecting work. In the wisdom of Heaven, may all countries and international organizations support the fast shift to the vegan diet for the future safety of all beings.

Death rates are higher for overweight COVID-19 patients.

A recent study by the World Obesity Federation found that nations with large numbers of obese people have experienced the most deaths from the pandemic. Specifically, in countries like the US and UK, where more than half the adult population is overweight, fatalities have occurred 10 times more often than in a country like Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, where such issues afflict only about 18% of adults. While an individual’s age is still the principal coronavirus risk factor, this new report points out that a person’s weight is the number two concern. Many thanks, World Obesity Federation, for bringing this information to our attention. We pray that governments around the globe will take heed and require their citizens to be vegan – for the sake of their health and the survival of the planet.

Up next, iconic Himalayan peak continues to be preserved. We’ll just take a little time to thank the genealogists, who study families to trace family history or their ancestry using interviews, birth records or through genetic analysis such as DNA tests. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more uplifting news.

Hallo, virtuous friends, it’s River the vegan Ribbon Seal! As a kid, I always wanted to be a hero. And you know what? Now I am! By being vegan, I’m saving countless lives. Join me! I have a crafty tip for you today. Recycle your broken or old binders to use them as a key holder. Simply cut the cover off the binder and secure it’s metal part to any wall with screws. You can even attach it outside on the deck to hang grilling utensils, towels or anything else. Try brightening it up with paint and mounting it on a wooden base for a creative touch. Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe.

Himalayan peak’s pristine state continues to be preserved.

Machhapuchhare Mountain – one of the most beautiful peaks nestled in Nepal - is restricted from being climbed. Also known as Fish Tail Mountain for its uniquely shaped twin summits, it has enthralled many local and international tourists to Nepal with its pristine beauty. It is rare in a country so popular for mountain tourism to have a peak remain untouched and untainted. This was made possible by a celebrated British Army officer renowned as “the father of trekking” in Nepal. Lieutenant Colonel James Owen Merion Roberts was fascinated with the mountain the locals considered sacred. After an unsuccessful expedition to the peak, Lieutenant Colonel Roberts requested the Nepali government to ban it from ever being climbed. They agreed, and the revered Himalayan summit continues to remain untouched. We honor your caring legacy, Lieutenant Colonel James Owen Merion Roberts. Thank you also, Nepal government, for your exemplary effort to maintain a natural heritage in its pure state. In Divine grace, may we all do our part to be good stewards of our precious Earth.

New United Kingdom report shows plastic waste is not decreasing.

The recent Checking Out On Plastics report from the non-governmental organizations Environmental Investigation Agency UK and Greenpeace UK noted that 10 leading supermarkets in the country sold products containing almost 900,000 metric tons of plastic in 2019. Furthermore, 2.5 billion plastic water bottles were also given away or sold, and over 1.58 billion reusable plastic shopping bags were sold. The report highlights that despite significant pledges by many companies, the actual amount of plastic being sold each year is fairly constant and not declining. It recommends national reuse systems and “transparency and accuracy supported by Government-mandated reporting.” Many thanks, Environmental Investigation Agency UK and Greenpeace UK for sharing this important information. We pray that sustainable practices and products will quickly be adopted in every industry, in the Heaven’s radiance.

Indigenous woman set to become the first Yolngu lawyer in Australian legal system. Twenty-seven-year-old Kenisha Gumbula, an Aboriginal Yolngu woman from the remote Galiwin’ku community on Elcho Island in the Northern Territory of Australia, will be the first Yolngu lawyer in the nation’s court system upon graduating with a law degree in April 2021. A single mother of two young children, she has spent five years working as a community legal educator with the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency, while studying for her law degree at Charles Darwin University. Ms. Gumbula has been encouraged and supported by her family, especially her grandparents and mother, who helped take care of her children. She envisions providing a bridge between the Western and Aboriginal legal systems as well as being an inspiration to others to fulfill their dreams. Our applause on your remarkable achievements, Kenisha Gumbula. We wish you outstanding success in all of your endeavors, as you provide inspiration for many others as an exemplary role model, in the benevolence of the Providence.

Coming up, first vegan doughnut shop opens in Washington DC. We’re going to pause now to be grateful for the unexpected moments that remind us to always hold on to our faith. More joyful news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Assuring News for a Gentler World.

Customers line up for vegan donuts in United States capital.

Donut Run, a 100% vegan donut shop, recently opened in Takoma, Washington DC, serving unique handmade, yeast-raised and cake-style donuts in twelve delectable flavors, with the offerings changing every day. The owners Shawn Peterson and Nicole Dao, a husband-and-wife duo, both vegans since 2007, found that within two weeks of starting their business, they had to hire additional staff to accomodate the long line waiting at opening time. Furthermore, they were selling out of some of their items, such as Apple Fritters, Boston Cream donuts and more, by noon. Though only providing take-out service during the pandemic, the business is flourishing. The dedicated vegan couple are thinking about expanding to another location and also opening a vegan restaurant. Congratulations, Nicole Dao and Shawn Peterson, on Donut Run! In Divine delight, wishing you and your vegan venture all the best.

Turkish man and swan accompany each other for 37 years.

One day in 1984, postman Recep Mirzan, now retired, found a female swan with a broken wing in Edirne Province in western Turkey. Mr. Mirzan brought the swan home to protect her from predators, and named her Garip. After the lovely feathered lady’s broken wing healed, she stayed with Mr. Mirzan at his farm in Karaağaç village and also became friends with the local cats and dogs. Garip spends most of her time following her caregiver around when he is doing his chores or taking his evening walks. A widower without children, 63-year-young Mr. Mirzan, who treats Garip like his own child, said the loyal swan has always stayed by his side and they have “never separated.” We are deeply touched by your devoted friendship, Recep Mirzan and Garip. May you continue to enjoy each other’s company for many years to come, in Heaven’s enduring love.

Now, let’s kick back and relax with the joke of the day, “Good Incentives.”

“Why has your performance not improved this year?”

“To be honest, it is because I didn’t get good incentives.”

“But why didn’t you get good incentives?”

“Well, because my performance has not improved this year...??”

And now we have a heartline from Kuan in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:

Hallo, dear Supreme Master TV team, I am from Tainan, Taiwan (Formosa). Recently, I saw Supreme Master’s video on the Hsin Yeong An Cable TV channel telling everyone about the natural disasters the Earth is facing, calling humans to regain our original loving heart, praying for the arrival of the vegan world, and calling on people around the world to meditate at a specific time so that the spiritual power could guide us to help the Earth and save animals. I strongly agree and support the message from this video. I sincerely ask the Supreme Master TV team to continuously provide more new videos to the Hsin Yeong An Cable TV channel so that more friends like me can feel the blessing of a good cause. Thank you! Kuan from Taiwan (Formosa)

Empathetic Kuan, It was a pleasure to read your note. We are touched that you appreciate Supreme Master Television programs that remind humans how to rebuild paradise on Earth. The solution is very simple, but every heart must be convinced for it to work. When a majority of humans on Earth awaken to all the catastrophic effects of meat consumption and become vegan, the tipping point will be surpassed, making veganism no longer the exception but the global norm. That is when perfect happiness will reign again on our magnificent planet. Please continue to watch, join in the World Vegan prayer and help us share this great news! Kindly note that Supreme Master TV has so many channels in Taiwan and all around the world. Please log on to SupremeMasterTV.com/worldwide to find out more. Wishing Heaven’s abundant blessings be sent to you and all the sincere Taiwanese (Formosan) people, Supreme Master TV team
