As an unfeigned vegan, Joaquin Phoenix is true to his passion both on and off screen. Joaquin, together with his sister and his late brother River were all devoted vegans. Joaquin Phoenix is an ardent animal rights activist. He has served as a spokesperson for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for several years. He appeared in many Peta ads and videos.
